Christchurch Earthquake Resources

At lunchtime on 22 February 2011 Christchurch was devastated by a force 6.3 earthquake.

Anyone who is able to offer help or who needs help because of the earthquake should go here.

Initially there was a large amount of news coverage on the quake and the rescue efforts, but there was only limited amount of coverage on the resources available to help survivors and the friends and relatives of those in Canterbury.

This blog was been started to provide pointers to information. Since then A dedicated volunteer team of Internet people, web masters, programmers, and computer savvy helpers have built the Christchurch Earthquake Community Response site to coordinate help efforts.

Anyone who is able to offer help or who needs help because of the earthquake should go here.
